Cup - Yunomi - Handmade in Speckled Stoneware with Cream Nuka glaze
Hand thrown yunomi in red clay with a cream nuka wood ash glaze - fired to cone 6.
These are thrown “off the hump” - from a large mound of clay on the wheel head, so their dimensions vary more than measured/weighed individual pieces
Excellent for tea from the pot or coffee from either pour-over or flat white.
The glaze contains oak and beech wood ash which helps to create the flecked texture.
Turned foot ring with NDC stamp and maker’s mark in underglaze.
Dishwasher and microwave safe but hand-washing recommended.
